Turtlebox Audio, the leader in rugged, waterproof, premium speakers, is cranking up the volume in rodeo. The company announced today its official sponsorship of the World Championship Junior Rodeo (WCJR) and Women’s Rodeo Championship World (WRWC)—two elite WCRA (World Champions Rodeo Alliance) events with a combined $1.15 million payout.

“The rodeo lifestyle and music go hand-in-hand,” said Sloane Brown, Director of Community Marketing at Turtlebox. “We’re thrilled to partner with the WCRA and support their mission to elevate the sport of rodeo for youth and female athletes.”

As part of the partnership, Turtlebox will have an exclusive presence at both events, featuring in-arena promotions, branded digital content, and event signage. Turtlebox will also award custom gifts to all WCRA Division Youth World Champions, all-around champions, and WRWC event and world champions.

The Cinch World Championship Junior Rodeo presented by Montana Silversmiths—one of the richest youth rodeos in the world—returns to Guthrie, Oklahoma, from July 22-26, 2025, with an estimated $400,000 payout, including $215,000 in guaranteed added money.

The Women’s Rodeo World Championship, the largest annual prize event in women’s rodeo, will feature a total purse of over $802,000 at the 2025 WRWC. The event kicks off in Fort Worth’s Cowtown Coliseum (May 12-14, 2025) before culminating at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on May 17, alongside the PBR (Professional Bull Riders).

Turtlebox was born out of necessity after breaking every so-called “loud” speaker on the market during outdoor adventures. Originally built in a garage for personal use, it became clear that nothing else could handle the elements and deliver the volume needed for environments like beaches, boats, and ATVs. Recognizing the demand, Turtlebox set out to create the world’s loudest, most rugged outdoor portable speaker—built to go anywhere and be heard everywhere.
