Stampede At The E DY Showcase - WCRA Division Youth

The 2023-24 Series will feature a CEAT Specialty WCRA DY Showcase event in Guthrie, Oklahoma, during the WCRA Stampede at The E. The event will pay $55,000, featuring each discipline’s top eight from the Junior DY Leaderboard (19 and under).

Who Qualifies and Nomination Deadline

All Disciplines: up to Top 8 from WCRA Segment DY24 Junior Leaderboard as of the December 7, 2023 weekly leaderboard update.

Athletes must have a minimum of fifteen (15) of VRQ points on the WCRA DY24 Junior Leaderboard in a discipline to be eligible to enter SATE DY Showcase. Athletes without the minimum VRQ points will be eligible to enter as an alternate but are not guaranteed to compete and may be subject to penalty fees.

Entry Fees and Payout

Those who qualify will be required to pay a $300 entry fee (100% payback). The event will be one round of competition and is highlighted by $28,600 added money ($2,600 added per discipline) with each event champion taking home a minimum of $2,000.

Top Four Payout:
1st Place: $2,000
2nd Place: $1,500
3rd Place: $1,000
4th Place: $500

Event Disciplines

The Showcase will crown champions in each of the 11 Junior disciplines: Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping (Heading/Heeling), Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Ladies Pole Bending, Ladies Goat Tying, Ladies Breakaway Roping, Ladies Barrel Racing and Bull Riding.

Event Format

All Disciplines: ▪ Eight (8) athletes per discipline
▪ One (1) round of competition
▪ Competition order based on leaderboard position in Timed Events.
▪ Stock Draft order based on leaderboard position in Riding Events
