DY MONTHLY CASH BONUS

HOW THIS WORKS

Athletes who earn the highest total points through nominations in a single discipline each month will receive a $200 Cash bonus and a $100 VRQ Bucks Gift Card in each of the following categories:

Timed Event- Youth Men’s
Timed Events- Youth Women
Timed Events- Junior Men’s
Timed Event- Junior Women
Roughstock

WHEN DOES IT BEGIN EACH MONTH?

Program incentive will begin on the first of every month and end on the last day of every month.

– All events must end within the incentive date range.
– Events may begin prior to the incentive range but must end within.
– The event end date will determine what month the points will be applied to.

Example: Jackpot starts on January 29^th and ends on February 2^nd. The points accumulated for this event would count towards the February Bonus.

WHAT IS THE PAYOUT?

The highest point earner over all disciplines in each category will receive both:

– $200 Cash Bonus
– $100 VRQ Bucks

Categories:
– Youth Men Timed Events
– Youth Women Timed Events
– Junior Men Timed Events
– Junior Women Timed Events
– Roughstock

Eligibility and Disciplines

The program is open to all youth and junior athletes who nominate their 2025 rodeo efforts in one of the following disciplines through the Virtual Rodeo Qualifier (VRQ):
Bareback Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping Heading, Team Roping Heeling, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie-Down Roping, Breakaway Roping, Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Goat Tying, and Bull Riding.

All points will count toward the 2025 DY Leaderboard (DY25), allowing participants to compete for monthly recognition and prizes.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I WON?

The WCRA will contact you and speak on next steps.

Winning athletes must complete the following criteria to receive the bonus payout:
– Complete a W9/W8 by a Tuesday at 10 am CT following the winner announcement, if not already on file with WCRA.
– Athlete must promote on social media by Tuesday at 10 am CT following the winner announcement.

If requirements are not met be the deadlines, the winner will not be paid out. The incentive bonus will not roll down.

Ties- If there is an instance of a tie, we will payout all winners in contention.
