What is a Top Hand Bonus?
A Top Hand Bonus is an additional cash and prize incentive awarded to high-performing athletes who nominate their events through WCRA’s Division Youth (DY) system. This is only a one-time nomination.
INFO ON THE TOP HAND BONUS
To be eligible for the Top Hand Bonus, athletes must:
– Nominate Segment DY25 in the VRQ before the first round of competition at your state finals
– Select the disciplines they want to be considered for.
– Nominate multiple disciplines to increase their chances of securing the bonus.
The athlete with the most VRQ Points in a single discipline at the conclusion of your State Finals will be crowned the Top Hand Winners.
Athletes must earn a qualified score or time to be eligible for points.

HOW MUCH DO YOU WIN?
Top Hand Bonus rewards the top 10 athletes with cash prizes and VRQ Bucks.
– Top Hand Champion: $1,500 one-time bonus.
– Runner-up: $750 cash prize.
– Third place: $250 cash prize.
– Fourth place: $200 in VRQ Bucks.
– Fifth place: $100 in VRQ Bucks.
– Sixth – Tenth place: $50 in VRQ Bucks each.
VRQ Bucks can be used toward future nominations.
OHSRA Finals Top Hand Bonus rewards the top 10 athletes with cash prizes and VRQ Bucks.
– Top Hand Champion: $2,500 one-time bonus.
– Runner-up: $1,500 cash prize.
– Third place: $1,000 cash prize.
– Fourth place: $500 in VRQ Bucks.
– Fifth place: $300 in VRQ Bucks.
– Sixth – Tenth place: $100 in VRQ Bucks each.
VRQ Bucks can be used toward future nominations.
THSRA Finals Top Hand Bonus rewards the top 10 athletes with cash prizes and VRQ Bucks.
– Top Hand Champion: $5,000 one-time bonus.
– Runner-up: $3,000 cash prize.
– Third place: $2,000 cash prize.
– Fourth place: $1,000 in VRQ Bucks.
– Fifth place: $500 in VRQ Bucks.
– Sixth – Tenth place: $200 in VRQ Bucks each.
VRQ Bucks can be used toward future nominations.
THSRA Finals Top Hand Bonus rewards the top 10 athletes with cash prizes and VRQ Bucks.
– Top Hand Champion: $500 one-time bonus.
– Runner-up: $300 cash prize.
